Our Make a Will Fortnight appeal plays an hugely important role in helping to raise the funds necessary for the hospice to continue to provide all aspects of our specialist care, free of charge.
The appeal relies completely on the generosity of local organisations, who waive fees for a certain number of will writing appointments and instead, take a donation which is then passed on to Dove House.
After first signing up to the Make a Will Fortnight in 2018, we are delighted to once again have Burstalls Solicitors on board as a partner organization. As with the hospice, Burstalls are a feature of the local landscape, having been established 73 years ago. Burstalls are once again taking appointments at their city centre offices on Lowgate.
Speaking about Burtstalls’ participation in the appeal, Dove House Hospice Regional Fundraiser Jethro Shearring said: “We are absolutely delighted that Burstalls are once again supporting us during the appeal. It is local organisations such as Burstalls that have been instrumental in helping to raise over £50,000 since Make a Will Fortnight began”
