Representing remembrance, true love and devotion, our bespoke forget me not flowers offer a truly meaningful way to celebrate and remember those we have lost.
This year, we are launching a new appeal in place of our annual Summer Memories service. The Forget Me Not appeal will offer a unique way to commemorate your loved ones with a beautiful display of metal flowers at Burton Constable Hall.
You are invited to dedicate a forget me not to your loved one and have the opportunity to request a leaf to be engraved with their name to attach to your metal flower*.
The flowers will be on display from Saturday 20th July until Sunday 11th August. There will be an exclusive opportunity to be the first to visit the display and attend a special service to celebrate the lives of loved ones on Friday 19th July at 7pm. The event will resemble our Summer Memories memorial service and will feature poignant readings, refreshments and live music whilst you view the spectacular display. The evening will provide a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and remember those who hold a special place in our hearts. Should you be unable to attend the service, you will receive a ticket entitling you and two guests to visit the display at Burton Constable free of charge between 20th July - 11th August.
Your beautiful forget me nots will be sent to you or available to collect in September, following the end of the display. Please indicate on the form below if you would like your flower to be posted to you or if you would like to collect from the hospice or one of the available shops.
*Please note that the leaves will not be included in the display at Burton Constable Hall and will be sent to you, along with your flower following the event. Your loved ones names will appear on a special memory board alongside the display and an online page will also be available to view.
The deadline for the names of loved ones to appear on the dedications board at Burton Constable Hall is 30th June 2024.
