We're so pleased you are interested in fundraising for Dove House Hospice. Fundraising is a great way of making a difference to your local community, whilst hopefully having a great time too! Below are some ideas of what you could do to raise money for the hospice but you can also contact our Fundraising T eam who will be happy to help you think of different ideas too.

Take on a challenge

  • Sign up for a 10k run, challenge yourself to run a marathon in a month, or get sponsored to do Couch to 5k
  • Walk a few miles every day to reach your fundraising target or take on a bigger trek like the Yorkshire Three Peaks.
  • Take on Triathlon or do your own using your local pool and running cycling routes nearby.
  • Want to lose a few pounds? Why not do a sponsored slim to keep you motivated on that diet, or maybe get sponsored to cut down on the booze or give up smoking

Organise an event

What about planning a Coffee Morning (still one of the most populat ways to fundraise!) or baking some delicious treats and holding a Cake Sale? Maybe music is more your thing so perhaps you could convince a local band to put on a gig. You could always get your local pub involved and host a Quiz Night - or take it virtual and run one online for donations.

Why not get your place of work involved in fundraising? From chosing Dove House as your Charity of the Year or holding a fundraising day, there's something to suit every business. Visit our Corporate Support page for more ideas.
