Volunteer at Dove House Hospice
Our volunteers are essential for everything we do. Some help our patients directly in our Day Therapy or In-Patient Units; others help us raise the £5million we need to keep running each year by helping in our shops or within our fundraising and lottery departments.
Last year our volunteers worked over 23,000 hours for the hospice – a saving of £892,693!
Becoming a volunteer is easy. Some volunteers work every week, others help when they can even if it is just a few days a year. Volunteering for Dove House is rewarding, however you choose to help. You get to make a real difference to local people as well as making new friends, learning new skills and often you’ll uncover hidden talents you never knew you had!!
