​Trek the Himalayas for Dove House Hospice
  • Duration: 12 days
  • Community Project: Spend two days assisting a local project. There are links with several projects in Delhi including a centre for the Cankids children’s hospice. Previous activities have included painting and decorating bedrooms, building a children’s playground, refurbishing a kitchen and dining room, and improving therapy centres.
  • Trekking: 5 days of trekking, reaching an altitude of 2875m.
  • Experience: You will be awed by lush green forests, views of snow-capped peaks, deep valleys, gushing rivers, and small villages with friendly and welcoming local people. The trip will also include free time to explore Delhi.
  • Accommodation: A mix of hotels, overnight trains, and camping to give you a full experience of the region.

Trek fundraising amounts can seem daunting but there are so many ways you can get to your target – it’s not just about asking friends and family for sponsorship. Tombola's in shopping centres, bucket collections in supermarkets and cake sales at work are just a few examples. The Fundraising Team at Dove House are always there to help and give any support you might need.

All flights, accomodation and meals are included in this fundraising amount.
