Has a Dove House Volunteer gone above and beyond to help you, given fantastic service or shown real dedication and commitment to the hospice?
Has a Dove House Volunteer gone above and beyond to help you, given fantastic service or shown real dedication and commitment to the hospice? If so, nominate them for this year's Volunteer Awards.
Without volunteers Dove House would not be able to provide the extraordinary care it does for local people. Volunteers are vital to all aspects of hospice work from helping patients on the Wilberforce Inpatient Unit to serving customers in one of our shops.
The Volunteer Celebration Evening Awards Nominations for 2019 are now open and this is your opportunity to give heartfelt thanks and recognition to the volunteers who generously give the gift of their time to Dove House Hospice, without their dedication and commitment we simply wouldn’t be able to achieve the great things that we do.
Our army of volunteers are working tirelessly every day to help us to provide the care needed to our patients and their families. We regularly receive feedback from people telling us how volunteers across the organisation are making a huge, positive impact on their lives, our volunteers are passionate about giving something back and make a real difference to the experience of others by living the hospice values, with every volunteer being united, positive, passionate and professional.
Volunteers can be nominated to any of the following awards which each recognise one of the Dove House Hospice values:
United Award – For the volunteers who have worked especially well in a team or have been particularly helpful and supportive to others. This award is also perfect for a volunteer who always wears their Dove House Hospice badge or uniform with pride and does everything they can to be part of the bigger hospice team.
