Historic First Open Gardens Event Comes to Garden Village, Saturday 13th June 2026!
Tickets £5, under 16s go free and available at Dove House Chamberlain Road and Holderness Road.
For one special day, visitors are invited to explore 11 unique private gardens, each offering its own character, planting style, and inspiration. From peaceful retreats to colourful floral displays, the event promises something for seasoned gardeners, families, and curious visitors alike.
Among the highlights, attendees will have the rare opportunity to visit gardens at Dove House Hospice and Holderness House, adding a meaningful and historic dimension to the day.
Visitors to Dove House Hospice will also be able to explore its beautiful memory garden and enjoy our onsite Café The Kitchen. Adding a touch of magic, the event will also feature six enchanting Fairy Trails dotted throughout the village.
These imaginative displays can be viewed from the front gates or hedges of participating homes, offering a delightful experience for children and families.
Please note that Fairy Trail gardens are not open for entry, but visitors are warmly encouraged to enjoy the displays from outside the gates.
