Patients, Families and carers

Open Day

We are opening our doors to the public for a day of celebration on Tuesday 17th October, so people can view our facilities, enjoy the gardens and get a sense of how we are able to provide vital support to patients and their families when they need it most.

Plenty of reasons to celebrate

There will be plenty of reasons to celebrate, with the hospice focusing upon our 25th anniversary. Guided tours of the hospice's facilities will take place at regular intervals throughout the day. The open day is open to everyone, whether new to Dove House or already a supporter.

On Tuesday 17th October 2017, we will be opening our doors so you can come and find out more about your local hospice.

Do you know that we may be providing a service that you could be benefitting from? Have you supported the hospice in the past and want to find out how your donation has helped your local community? Drop in and find out more about your local hospice on Tuesday 17th October, we have lots going on including:

  • Taster sessions of Complementary Therapy and Rehab for Wellbeing
  • Find out more about job vacancies and volunteer opportunities
  • Visit our 'human exhibition' - talk to staff about the services we provide
  • See how the hospice has changed over the last 25 years
