During the Coronavirus pandemic our ability to secure funds, which makes our care possible, took a major hit and we had to rethink everything. This included making adaptations to the care we provide, and establishing new and different ways of raising funds without community gatherings, events or our shops.

The pandemic made caring for the community so much more difficult but we couldn’t be prouder that, with the support of the local community, our core services remained open and available for the people who needed hospice care.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us through this difficult time. But we still need
your help
. The end of the crisis is now in sight, and with your support we can plan for a better tomorrow and
secure the future of Dove House.

We are hoping to raise an extra £8311 from this appeal. This could cover the cost of 2 months Outpatient
appointments, so those who don’t require 24/7 care can still access our expert services. Perhaps you could be
one of 120 people to donate £69 to cover this cost? Or a gift of £29 would allow the Family Support Team to have a one to one appointment with a bereaved family member.

On behalf of everyone here at the hospice we are incredibly grateful for your support.
