Styled By Dove House is an exciting chapter for the Dove House shops, it is fashion with a higher purpose.
The launch of this campaign signalled the beginning of a more trend-focussed way to thrift, with added ease and style in every shop. We are very grateful to our loyal customer-base but that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for new shoppers, we hope Styled By will reach those who aren’t yet in love with second hand shopping but should be!
You can now find ‘trend rails’ in our retail locations, a carefully curated selection of stock that represents the on-trend styles of the season. With this shift we aim to help combat the increasing problem that is fast fashion in our local community and on the planet, by showcasing that pre-loved can too be fashionable, stylish and up to date.
To align with Second Hand September, a national campaign that encourages consumers to only shop pre-loved pieces for the entire month each year – we launched Styled By Dove House onto billboards and buses around Hull backed up with lots of activity online too. But this was just the beginning!
Most recently, the second burst of Styled By Dove House launched just in time for the festive season - Sparkle Edition. This photoshoot saw three Dove House staff become models adorned in sequins, Dr Becky (Hopsice Doctor), Kim (Support Services Co-Ordinator) and Tiff (Community Fundraiser). The ladies showcased the sustainable, stylish and, of course, sparkly pieces that Dove House Shops have to offer across party season.
As we move into 2026, expect to see lots more from Styled By Dove House and remember, it's fashion with a higher purpose.
