The Dove House Hospice Practice Development & Education Department primarily helps health care professionals.
We are pleased to offer training sessions on a number of different subjects including:
- End of life care issues
- Loss in schools
- General hospice information
We can adapt our courses to meet your specific training needs. The training can be provided to any groups including health & social care professionals, care homes, schools and other organisations.
Not only to understand more about the work we do here at Dove House, but also to reach out into the community and further the care that is so widely needed.
Here at Dove House, we understand that many different people are affected by life-limiting illnesses. Our Study Sessions are available to anyone who is involved with end of life care. The sessions will enable health and social care workers to provide best care and support to patients and families. We offer courses, study days/evenings, Hospice information afternoons, Hospice lectures and interactive workshops.

- Supporting bereaved children - for teachers and others working with children
- Bespoke courses for nursing and residential homes
- Pain Control and the different types of cancer
