Experiencing pain is a very personal thing, affecting people in many different ways, and this is something that the staff here at Dove House understand. We know how the pain you may be experiencing as a result of a life limiting or terminal illness can make you feel, both physically and emotionally.  It may be that your illness is making the pain of a pre-existing condition worse, or that the side effects of your treatment are painful.

Emotional stressors such as anxiety, depression and tiredness can all make this pain feel worse, and it can also be very distressing for carers and family members to see someone they love going through this, often having a detrimental affect on their own feelings of health and wellbeing.
This is where Dove House may be able to help.  Our highly trained and experienced staff can help with pain management, adopting a person-centred, holistic approach to the needs of every patient who comes into our care.

We also give support to family members and people who are looking after someone experiencing pain as a symptom of a life limiting or terminal illness, as we know how distressing this can be.

If you feel you need help managing your pain or would like to talk to someone about your pain and how it is making you feel, then contact us today.  If someone you love is struggling to deal with the pain of a life limiting illness, and you need some help, we are here for you.
