Hearts in Bloom is a group for adults living in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire with progressive life limiting illnesses who enjoy gardening based activities. This is a full accessible group for adults who enjoy green fingered activities but are strruggling to do these at home.
At Hearts in Bloom, you could be:
- Planting & growing
- Windowsill projects
- Drying and preserving flowers
- Crafts and creativity
- Connecting with nature
Outside activities which bring people close to nature have a positive impact on both emtional and physical wellbeing. Hearts in Bloom aims to provide accessible, meaningful activities for people whose illness has impacted them being able to do some of the things they enjoy and give others a chance to experience the benefits too.
