We will soon be opening our largest charity shop in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire to bargain-hunting charity shoppers! The 10,000sq ft charity superstore, called at Home by Dove House, will be offering for sale a diverse range of furniture, homeware, electrical items as well as a fantastic range of brand-new soft furnishings. This new superstore will also feature a dedicated sales area for the pieces created by Humber Wood Recycling Project.
Marisa Haines, said: “We are very excited about the prospect of opening at Home by Dove House. The new store will provide more of everything our supporters love about our existing furniture stores, but on a much larger scale.
“The need for our services is always increasing and the opportunity to introduce another fundraising stream is invaluable and will help us enhance our services, enabling more people to live as well as they can with a life limiting illness.
“We welcome people to come along and support our new project, especially people who want to volunteer in the new store. We’d love to have some extra volunteers on board here to get stuck in with a range of tasks like sorting and pricing donations, visual merchandising, customer service and helping out on the sales desk. Volunteering is a great way to meet new people and build your CV, and we can even arrange a taster session so you can see if you enjoy the role.”
The superstore will be opening on Monday 29th October at 10am and will be open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm and Sunday 10.30am - 4.30pm.
