Pop-up shop joy as we reopen shop in Driffield

Posted on: March 11th, 2019

Our Driffield Shop which was forced to close because of fire has reopened its doors in a new Pop-up Shop around the corner.

The shop was previously on 58 Market Place but closed its doors in January after the fire that destroyed the shop. The new charity shop has been stocked from scratch via generous public donations.

Marisa Haines said: “Having urgently searched for a new site after the devastating fire back on the 24th January We are delighted to let our supporters know that we are set to open a Pop-up Shop in Driffield at Spencer Centre Westgate, near LIDL at 10am on Thursday 14th March. It has been a difficult few weeks and our staff and volunteers have worked tirelessly to secure this new site and get it open as soon as possible. It really is the best thing we could have asked for to be open again in Driffield so soon.

“It is great news for staff, volunteers and the hospice as we continue our work into supporting patients and their families facing a life limiting illness with funds raised from donations and trading at the shop."
