Exciting things for Hessle Road, Hull!

Following great success the ‘At Home’ store moved to much larger premises further up the road and became the hospice’s first ever superstore. With more stock on offer, and lots more bargains the shop move is caused lots of excitement as they welcome everyone to their grand store opening.
The new shop opened earlier last month and is open Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm and Sundays from 10 am to 4 pm.
Head of Retail, Marisa Haines had this to say:
“We are really excited to have moved into our new larger premises. We have gone from 10K square ft over 2 floors to 18K square ft all on one floor, which is a huge difference and is fantastic for our community. We are also housing a huge White Goods department, all PAT tested and function tested at unbelievable quality and pricing alongside all of your furniture needs with lots of home accessories thrown in. It is such an exciting opportunity for us.”
We also relocated the charity shop on Hessle Road but with a twist. The fantastic new charity shop is located where the old At Home shop was on Hessle Road and will be home to womenswear, menswear, and childrenswear. Spread over two floors means it is their biggest traditional charity shop. But, most excitingly, it will be the new home to Bridal by Dove House, the hospice's fabulous selection of preloved wedding dresses and accessories.
The new shop opened in July and will be open Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm and Sundays from 10 am to 4 pm.
With more stock on offer the shop move caused lots of interest on opening day with queues of customers waiting to grab a good deal.
Retail Area Manage, Janine Drury had this to say:
“We were humbled to see so many from our community come and support us on our first day. The money we raise makes such a difference to the hospice and those who need Dove House’s care. We are excited that we have brought Bridal by Dove House to a central location in Hull and we think it complements our Hessle Road shop really well.”
