Primary Schools

There are lots of ways primary schools can get involved and raise vital funds and awareness for Dove House Hospice as well encouraging children to work together and have some fun!

Many primary schools choose to hold their own event and sponsored events are often the most popular - why don't you organise a sponsored walk around your local area or around the school field or how about a sponsored jump on a bouncy castle? There are lots of other things your school could do too like having a Green Day where everyone pays 50p and wears green clothes to school and does lots of green activities or having a bun sale or a tombola at your summer or Christmas fair - we have put together some ideas and help on our Holding Your Own Event page or you could come up with  your own ideas too.

Some schools also like to take part in our seasonal appeals and have trinkets to sell throughout the year or take part in our Giant Easter Egg competition or have a Share-a-Card in classes instead of sending individual cards.

We can also come to your school and give assemblies or talk to classes about the work we do here and how you can get involved - if you would be interested in our team coming to your school please email us at fundraising@dovehouse.org.uk
