Ethical Hull business supports Dove House Hospice
A leading green business has donated ethical cleaning products to Dove House Hospice.
Sutton Fields based Bio-D donated £300 worth of its environmentally friendly and hypoallergenic Washing Up Liquid, Multi-Purpose Cleaner and Toilet Cleaner to the hospice in lieu of sending Christmas cards to customers and suppliers.
Bio-D’s Sales and Marketing Director Sara Holtby explained; “As as environmental business, we find it hard to justify using resources unnecessarily so advised all of our contacts that we would make a donation to a local charity instead. I got in touch with Malcolm Barrett and the Domestic team to see whether they would like some cleaning products and they found the samples effective, so we made a bulk delivery.”
Malcolm Barrett, support services manager at Dove House said; “We’re very grateful and appreciative of Bio-d’s kind donation. The team really enjoyed using the products and it will help us to save some money on the cleaning budget.”
Bio-D manufactures environmentally responsible cleaning and laundry products that are UK made, effective, biodegradable and hypoallergenic. They are produced from sustainable, naturally derived raw materials and do not contain petrochemicals, chlorine or optical brighteners.
