In aid of Dove House Hospice and Yorkshire Cancer Research. The day raised a fantastic £1,000 for the hospice.
Andrea Hunt, a trustee of the hospice, is seen here collecting the cheque from president Ted Whiting.
Andrea said:
“We are so grateful to the Rotary Club of Hull Kingston for once again choosing to support the hospice with this event – the £1000 will be used within the hospice to provide care for patients with life limiting illnesses. We really rely on local organisations such as the Rotary Club to support us as it costs £4.7 million each year to run the hospice and so on behalf of our patients, staff and volunteers I would like to say a big thank you to all those who took part in the day. I’d also like to thank all the members of Hull Kingston who entertained me so wonderfully at the cheque presentation, it was an utter delight to have been invited to collect such a fantastic donation.”
