Events in Memory of Loved Ones
Many people choose to hold special events to remember their loved one and celebrate their life.
It may be that your loved one was a great entertainer so you organise an event with lots of performers or maybe they loved nothing more than a game of football so you organise a 5-a-side competition. Maybe you want to celebrate their birthday or a special anniversary by having a party to honour their memory. We have put together a page of information to help you if you are thinking of holding your own event so please click here to look at the information we have put together or please contact us to discuss how you go about arranging an event to remember someone you have lost.
Some people decide to take on a challenge when they have lost someone they loved and so run, walk, cycle or skydive to raise as much money as possible in their memory. To find out more about doing an event like this please visit our Sponsored Event page.
We also hold two remembrance events every year that you might want to take part in to remember your loved one. The first is the Dove Release where people make a donation in memory of their loved one and we release a symbolic cote of doves at one of our summer events and the other is Light Up a Life where people are invited to sponsor a light on a beautiful Christmas tree and dedicate it to loved ones they have lost or can't be near at Christmas.
