Information and Education Background
The department is based at Muriel Field House at Dove House Hospice. We provide education to the whole range of staff involved in the care of people with life‐limiting illness and bereavement.
The people who attend our courses and study days come from Schools, Hospitals, Care Homes, the Community, Social Services, other Hospices and members of the general public.
This education both assists staff to give up to date quality care to patients and families and raises awareness of the issues surrounding specialist palliative care.
Library
Here at Dove House we have a library manned by a team of volunteers that can provide information to help support patients and their carers and is a good resource for health care professionals both at Dove House and in the wider community.
