Bank Opportunities:This section will contain any vacancies to join our bank register here at Dove House Hospice.
What is bank work? We have a pool of bank workers who act as cover for existing post holders i.e if one of our shop managers was on annual leave and we were unable to cover the shop with our staff, we would call one of our bank retail assistants to see if they would like a shift to cover the shop. It is entirely up to them if they accept the shift or not and there is no obligation for them to do so.
Being on our bank register means that;
1 - Hours are not set or guaranteed, 2 - Availability of work on our Bank will vary dependant on many factors within the Hospice, 3 - There is no obligation to accept bank work when it is offered, 4 - The Hospice is under no obligation to offer work, and for legal reasons all work offered and accepted will be separate from the next, 5 - No mutuality of obligation shall subsist between engagements, 6 - No contract of employment shall exist with Dove House Hospice
We do not have any bank vacancies available at present.
